My 2019 teachers

Dear 2019 teachers,

My name is Lama and I am 8 years old. My favourite subject is writing because I like to write stories like Cinderella . My best friend is Tawana, Legacy and Leonora because they always play with me at the playground.

My favourite game is to play chair tiggie I like to play chair tiggie because I like to be chased around and it’s fun. At school I like to draw pictures like robots and birds.  

I feel sad when people are mean to me. For example using unkind words.

What I like to do animations,  because you could draw your own characters, your background and you can make up your own words.

What my new teachers can help me with, checking my words with my writing. I like to retell my story as a movie. My favourite movies are Beauty and the Beast and of course, Cinderella.

I am really excited to meet my new teachers. I hope they are funny, energetic and can buy me lunch when I’m good all time.

Mr class and his wife Miss claus

Once upon a time there lived a old man called Mr claus he had wife called Miss claus. They lived next to small village. Mr claus wish that he had children so he made up and idea. One day Mr claus and his wife went to Peoples house to give them some wood dolls but mr claus gave a little girl a special doll to keep because she was always good. When mr claus was going Back to his house. He got lost he forgot which path to go back home so he went back to the village when he went back to the village he saw a angel she told him which path to go on so he listen to her. She said to him to go lots of way so he did. Mr claus was happy that he found the way to go back to his home. So he went home and had a big dinner with his wife. So they happily after. The End. 

The magic

The movie I am reviewing is called the magic. In the movie there is one girl her name is Tawana she was looking for what the magic was. First she went to the years 1s she asked  what the magic they thought the magic was there was teacher but Tawana wasn’t sure. Next she went to the park to tell them the something but she wasn’t sure about that too. Then she went to the big kids what the magic was they said the magic was working together but she wasn’t about that to. Tawana was nearly going to gave up but her friends came to her and chair her up. So they went back to class and a told the class that they found the magic. I like this movie because there are lots of places to see in the movie. 

(Backup) A little beautiful girl

Once upon a time there lived beautiful little girl called Eadie. She lived in a wonderful house next to colourful garden she likes to garden her flowers Eadie had a huge tree with lots of apples inside it. So she would go and get some apples for her mum. One sunny day Eadie went for a walk to get some flowers. Her mum said to not go to far but Eadie went far. Suddenly Eadie got lost she was scared or was nearly dark. Eadie’s mum was worried that she wasn’t home so she called that cops she told that her daughter was lost so the cops raced to the house where Eadie lived. The mum showed the handsome cops which path she went on. Once the cops was walking for ever they saw Eadie.  Eadie was safe and sound. Her mum was proud that the  cops found Eadie so they had a huge dinner with the cops because they found Eadie. They lived happilyever after the End. 

My rangoli art

Last week room 19 and 20 made some rangoli art  to celebrate the Diwali festival. First room 19 and 20 got some paper we used different shapes for our art. Next we drew some beautiful patterns to add some details so it could be pretty. After that all of the kids had two pick four colours like pink,black and some other colours. I used lots shapes like circle and Triangles I did my patterns like circles and I add lot of patterns. Soon I did colours patterns like blue and green and I add spiky Mountain. Then I coloured all of my patterns and shapes. After that me and tawana had to cut our papers so it could go on a cardboard and we could dry the cardboard Mrs Carruthers glued all of the finish rangoli art there was lots of pretty patterns. Finally me and tawana dye the background with lots of colours when the dye dry  Ms Eadie put glitter and it made it more pretty. I felt excited because I get to make my own rangoli art and I can put lots of patterns.

The amazing immersion Assembly

One beautiful sunny morning  wonderful Pt England school walked to the huge hell for the fantastic Immersion Assembly for Te wa toi that the teacher put on. 

First team one came on to the stage and painted four seperate papers that created a beautiful lion when joined together. Team one is going to the zoo. On Wednesday to get ideas for there paintings.  

Second Team two came on the stage. They made a movie when the movie was playing all of team two teachers were talking about themselves and what was precious to them on there amazing movie Mrs Gaston drew her son and her daughter and her cute cat. She even put four stars and a kiwi on her shouder including the skytower. While the movie was playing Mrs Gaston and Mrs carter were painting. 

Third Team three came stage. Mr Moran,Miss scanlan and Mrs carruthers were wearing white overalls. Ms Eadie and Miss king were painting on the team three teachers. The colours were was so pretty they made a beautiful large abstract mural. 

Next Team four came on stage. Team four had a competition. They had to draw Mr Moran. Some teachers were using paint, pastels and vivid. The best was Miss sio. 

Then Team five came on stage.Team five teachers were pretending to be students. There teacher was Mr wiseman he was funny. They were talking about art coming from their souls. I enjoyed the Immersion Assembly because I like see the beautiful art.

The beautiful staircase

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful little girl called Ema. Ema was only 5 years old. Ema and her mum lived in a little house with 1 bed room. They lived near huge school there was lots of beautiful kids there. Ema said to her mum “Can I go for a walk”but her mum said “Don’t go to far my darling. So Ema went on her fantastic walk and saw a beautiful stairs made out of flowers and concrete. Ema was excited to go up it but she remembered to not go to far. But Ema went up it anyways. As Ema got to the top she was impressed because she was seeing all of the candy. Ema was so excited to eat all of the candy. Emas mother was worried that Ema wasn’t home. So Emas mum went out to find Ema. As Emas mum got out of her house she saw the staircase Appeared in front of her house she thought Ema went up it. So Emas mum went up it so she could find Ema. As Emas mum go to the top she saw Ema eating the candys. Ema was very tried that she was eating lots of candy. So Ema and her mum head home so they could get some rest. 

The magical key

Once upon a time there lived a  little handsome boy called Jacob. He went with his next door neighbour called John. They climbed up to a beautiful tree  house. It was like they were flying in the most beautiful sky. First John open a beautiful box with red fluff inside. Then John pulled out a key that you could blow through, it was special. Next John blew through it and out popped a fluffy cloud. After that Jacob had a turn. He blew through it and made tiny cloud. So then John told Jacob what to do. Jacob tired and tired by  he broke the key John didn't care about that. At that moment Jacob thought of a good idea to change the key into a star. It was so cool. They made many shaped cloud including a bunny and finally a love heart. At the end of the day they sat down in the beautiful sun. The end. 

Healthy sandwiches

On a beautiful sunny morning room 19 and 20 made amazing sandwiches in class. We did this because our Inquiry is Move Your Body and we are trying to get fit and eat lots of healthy food. First rooms 19 and 20 sat on the mat and had a discussion on healthy food and how our brain works. Next we got the soft bread and the ham then we got the cheese, the cheese was bright yellow. After that Ms Eadie broke up some Crunchy lettuce. Then we went outside in the beautiful sun and sat down and ate our healthy delicious sandwich it smelt like ham and cheese. After that we went back in the class and talk about what it taste like. Finally we wote our  first sentence of our recounts. I like this activity because it was great eating healthy food.

Our Movement art

Last week on a beautiful sunny cold day. Rooms 19 and 20 made beautiful movements art because our Inquiry is Move Your Body. First Ms Eadie put us into pairs. Then we took our beautiful photos next we traced around our photos and put it into the media folder in our drive. After that Ms Eadie printed it out. Then we cut our photos out and traced around it 3 times on paper. After that we designed our own beautiful background. Finally we stuck our photos and our shadows on to our beautiful background to make it look like our body was moving. I like it because it is a fun art to do.

My holidays

On Saturday in the holiday my mum and cousin and I went to the movies to watch hotel Transylvania 3. We got ice cream, drinks and delicious popcorn. It was very fun to watch it. There were big big monsters on a boat. The boat was gigantic, it was the biggest you have never seen.  In hotel Transylvania 3 the dad like this beautiful lady but she was evil she didn't like him. The ice cream was so delicious the flavour was cookies and cream with chocolate chips inside it. It was so so amazing to eat. After the movie we went to play games. It was a big place were people play games at. It was fun there were lots of games to play I didn't know what game to play on. The place was large they even had  bowling there. There were heaps of people. It was like it was pack to the roof but it was not really. After the games we went home. We had to go for a wonderful shower. After that  we went to watch a amazing movie in the sitting room it was fantastic. I felt excited for doing all of these fun thing. Because all of these fun things are fun to do with my family.

The beautiful fairy

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful fairy called Ell. She was a lovely fairy she lived in  beautiful castle by a spooky lake. They were bad animals in the lake. She didn't know which room is which. Ell had a tall tower. No one lived  with Ell. She was sad that she had nobody to play with and have fun with. Ell was very upset that she had nobody to have fun with. One beautiful day a nice girl came to Ell's castle she knock on the door Ell got the door. She  was excited for having a friend in her castle. Just when the lovely girl came in they were playing a game. Her name is called Peck. Ell and peck were best friends. They would get flowers all the time so they could make the castle look more beautiful they were both having so much fun the End. 

Matariki

Last Friday it was Matariki day. I was in room 19 and 20 with Mrs carruthers. There were other kids Mrs carruthers put all of the kids and older kids in groups. We celebrate Matariki by making stars. 

I made a cool star. We had to go up down then across it was amazing! Then Mrs carruthers picked 8 people to do painting. It was me and other kids and older kids. It was our background for our star.

Then we made a star. We rote a message. I rote it to my favourite Aunty and to my family. After that we put glitter inside the star. 

After we rote our message we made cookies. We put icing on top of the cookies.

I felt excited for doing this. It was very very fun to do. Just when it was about  hometime we went to Assembly so everyone could see our work. I felt excited for doing all these fun things.

John the owl

Once upon a time there was an owl called john. John looked like an owl this feathers were sunny warm colours john had big eyes and helived in a tall tree. The tree had leafs coming down from it john had two baby owls. One was a boy and one was girl. The baby owls looked cute. One beautiful sunny day john went to find some food but he couldn't find any food so john went went back to the where his baby owls were. One night a old man came to cut the tree where john and this baby owls lived so john and the two owls went to find a new tree for them to live in. Finally john went to find food again so he did get the food for him and his two baby owls. When he went back to the tree the baby owl was starving to eat so john gave the food to the baby owls The End
